I hope that this sport will give you everything and more that it has done for me, an over-whelming sense of achievement and confidence to name 2 things on a long list of many.

So why should you start running? Why a run group?
After talking to alot of women about my running, it became apparent that many of them wanted to start running but thought either they could not do it, did not know how to begin or did not want to start running by themselves. By running in a group you have the support of the other people, it is a team effort. All the members will be of the same standard as you, beginners, and so it you will not feel intimidated and you most definitely will not be left behind.
My aim is to train you for an event, The Race for Life, The Great South Run, or even the Brighton or London Marathon
You can do it, it is not impossible. Even though this seems a lot of miles at the moment you will be surprised by your bodies ability to adapt.
